Let’s go on a deep-dive into an overthinker’s mindset.

But first, what are the solutions to overthinking?

  1. Identify Your Destructive Thought Patterns
  2. Manage Your Thoughts
  3. Let Go Of What’s Already Happened
  4. Live In The Moment
  5. Tackle The Task
  6. Take Control
  7. Know The Difference

We will talk about each of these later on in this post.

What is overthinking?

The definition from Google of overthink is to “think about something too much or for too long.”

Have you ever found yourself in that situation? I bet everyone does. We have all found ourselves overthinking at some point in our lives. A recent episode of this is actually what drove us to do some research and write this post.

Overthinking usually happens when we are in a situation we have never experienced before.

Sometimes, as people, we just can’t seem to be able to turn off our concerns. When it comes to making decisions, we usually worry about the outcome, which leads us to worry about the future. And therefore overthink.
